Faith. Acts. United. is Best Shot Foundation’s principal grassroots program. It brings together individuals and faith-based communities to respond to the moral and theological commitment to care for all of God’s children and speak up in support of increased funding for child health programs.

The power of the faith community is in its numbers and dedication to these principles:

• All children are God’s children, and not one should die needlessly.
• Knowing that many childhood diseases are treatable and preventable, people of faith must declare unceasing resolve to protect innocent lives.
• The duty to protect all children requires people of faith to raise their voices together on behalf of weaker brethren.
• The faith community engages its individual efforts in support of the powerless and calls upon the leaders of the nation to provide the resources necessary to protect every one of God’s children.

Diverse Communities; Uniform Calling

Faith. Acts. United. participants come from different faith communities and hold varying beliefs. Despite their differences, they are joined in a common belief in a responsibility and commitment to help those in need. As a nondenominational program, Faith. Acts. United. welcomes individuals of all religious backgrounds.

"My brothers, what use is it for a man to say he has faith when he does nothing to show it? Can that faith save him? Suppose a brother or a sister is in rags with not enough food for the day, and one of you says, 'Good luck to you, keep yourselves warm, and have plenty to eat', but does nothing to supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So with faith; if it does not lead to action, it is in itself a lifeless thing."
